I experimented a lot with cg ocean water and waves. I just used a bump map here, but for closer shots I use displacement. Getting the right water color, reflection and lighting took a lot of experimenting. One mistake people make with water is they automatically give it transparency- but why complicate things if there is nothing to see under the water? My cg ocean water is usually just reflection, color and highlights, that's all. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
