This was a simple fun test. The ball lay on a board that flips up and actually tosses the ball. There are so many variables that can be adjusted, like how bouncy the ball is, what density it is (is it feather light or heavy as lead), and how much friction does the ground have or the board etc. You can adjust the amount and direction of gravity and , well... just about anything.
