Markus doesn't direct from a chair. As a matter of fact, getting him to sit still for more than 30 seconds is an outright miracle. No one on a shoot has a chance to sit still- he only works with small lightweight fast crews who have been hand picked for efficiency, Markus knows exactly what he wants and moves fast and hard. If the DP doesn't get the shot fast enough, Markus will grab the camera and do it himself, since the image is already burning in his mind.
