Every once in a while a very special soul comes to Earth who touches everything and everyone with magic. Someone who only sees the good in everything despite all odds. Someone who only gives and never takes, even when their very body is falling apart. Debbie is a girl in Texas that will truly melt your heart. She was born with Hoods disease, also known as NPS, or Nail Patella Syndrome... the main symptom being deformed bones and joints which don't fit or work right. Imagine walking and suddenly your hips or knees give out and collapsing helplessly. Imagine your jaw dropping out of it's socket or being hugged and ribs dislocating. Imagine the searing pain of nerves in your elbows and hips being pinched because the bones don't fit right... imagine this chronic pain every minute of your life, night and day. Could you live in a body like that?

Despite all this, Debbie has the innocent soul and heart of a child. If you took her for a drive, she would only point out the good in everything she saw. Her life is nothing but pure love and hope. Her face beams a smile at everyone she meets and every penny she's had has gone to helping others. The only sign there is anything wrong is at night when she is alone and a tear rolls down her face as her body starts to quietly tremble because the painkillers just aren't working.

Debbie was born with a body and youthful beauty most women only dream of. Most of these pictures are Debbie approaching 40, yet she seems barely 20. What "Modern" medicine has done to this breathless innocent work of art is heart wrenching. The end of one arm bone has been completely sawed off, not connecting at the elbow anymore. Botched surgery attempts have left permanent foot long scars on each knee. Kneecaps, many teeth and half of her thyroid have been removed, as has the chance of having children. Her arms are permanently bent and can never straighten. Almost every major joint has had surgery- spine, elbow, knees, hips, jaw, etc. Years of spine injections, xrays, MRIs, and heavy medication have taken their toll. Debbie is now having seizures, falling to the ground unconscious as her body violently trembles with spasms. She just had a stroke in her left arm. Her headaches are becoming unbearable and her vision is going. Modern medicine is only trying to hide the symptoms and the drugs are making things worse. Doctors have threatened if she tries alternative natural healing they will cut her off, and the heavy medication she is on can't just be stopped suddenly. The friction between American doctors and natural healing broke up a beautiful 15 year relationship. She knew she was sick and didnt want to burden anyone. She is a proud person and even in the face of this terrible situation she still hasn't asked anyone for help. She's scared to listen to those closest to her who care the most, but maybe if the world speaks up...
