ARE PROTEIN POWDERS O.K. ?

Let's start with a letter I just received...

Hi Markus

Why didn't I listen to you when you warned me that my raw meal protein fiber powder mix would consitpate me. Actually, it went further than that - it DEHYDRATED me! On Monday I had to go to the emergency room, but all of my vitals proved to be normal. The doctor said it seemed like my body was going through starvation. I was parched dry. It is Friday, and I still am not totally back. By Wed I had removed all of the cement from my colon. And believe me it felt like I was passing bricks. It stressed out my kidneys, my brain wasn't functioning properly, and I had general malaise. I think I lost everything in my body. Now I'm trying to place back all of my electrolytes, salts and sugars. Once I'm fully recovered I will have to begin my parasite cleanse again. I hate I had this setback. I was using the drink to replace a meal and provide me with all of my nutrients. I am so disappointed. Thanks for your warning. I really thought everything would be okay. If you wish to pass on my experience, please feel free if it will help anyone.

Also, I wanted to tell you that the herbs in Parasite Free is clearing up other diseases in my body. I have candida and bacterial infections, among other germs that I have been trying to rid my body of for years. It is cleansing my colon walls so well that the dark areas on the bottom of my feet are starting to lighten up. And my bad skin conditions are improving. Also, coming off the acidic meat is helping my health as well. I'm so happy I came across your website! Thank you for all of the efforts you give in helping persons on the journey to better health.

This is important. Many people take protein powders, especially those scared into believing they aren't getting enough protein in their raw vegan diets. I'll get right to the point- protein powders are NOT a meal replacement ! NOTHING comes close to real fresh raw juicy food. Powders are NOT a raw food. Powders constipate and simply drinking lots of water is not going to make everything ok. Powders are as dry as something gets so by nature, they will suck moisture out of your body like crazy. Almost all powders are a form of cement. They are not a great form of nutrition... why? Because the moment you juice, grind or powder anything, you are breaking open the cells, killing and oxidizing them. When you cut an apple open, it turns brown from just one cut. Imagine cutting open every cell of the apple. You are letting all the good stuff out and it dies. Grind up an apple seed and try to plant it. That's why you have to eat or drink something moments after juicing or grinding it. Yes it was raw food before you ground it up, but that doesn't make it raw food after grinding. Well, maybe raw DEAD food. A lot of powders are made from "sprouted" ingredients. Sure it would be great if you ate it moments after grinding or juicing, but within an hour there is no life left. What about "fermented" dry powders? The best fermented foods are still wet- so the fermenting organisms have something to keep themselves alive. They can't live very well in a sand dune.

There are a few exceptions like plants whose properties (resins, alkaloids, glycocides etc) are so powerful, they need to be dried for a few months before using (
see my Free Food and Medicine DVD), but for the most part, eating something fresh off the tree, bush or ground is best. There are some colon cleansing or anti-parasite herbs that work well in powder form, but even then, it's best if you can consume the plant right from nature. Chlorella, Spirulina etc obviously come in powder form and they are great, but again,- LOTS OF WATER ! I love chlorella. But here is an example of the nature of powder- the last 2 days, for my moring drink, I put FIVE big Aloe Vera arms in my vitamix. (that's right- 5 !) Along with some citrus juice and a bunch of olive oil and about 4 heaping tablespoons of chlorella powder. Now you would think with that much ALoe Vera I would be running to the bathroom like crazy, right ? Nope. Those few tablespoons of powder cancelled out that powerful laxative. All the ingredients are very good for you, but you need to understand how powerful powders can be. That's why people taking bentonite should be aware.

Get away from anything that says "Meal Replacement". There is no such thing. It's either a meal or it isn't. It's better to not eat anything at all. Bodybuilders find that they actually gain more size after a day of fasting. We are eighty
percent wet juicy gooey stuff. So eat wet, juicy, gooey stuff ! I'm not saying to stay completely away from powders, but my view is to treat them like toys. It's fun to add goji powder or Ayurvedic herbs to a drink... but use them as supplements, not the main ingredient.

That's why I wrote my book "
Heal Yourself 101". It explains everything plainly and clearly. EAT THINGS THE WAY YOU FIND THEM IN NATURE !!!! Grinding, blending and juicing is great, but consume immediately !

Some of my best friends make and sell powders. Why do they do it? Because it's very hard to grow fresh food and deliver it to your door within minutes, then prepare it for you on the spot so you can eat or drink it within minutes. They need to make money and dry foods are about the only thing that can be stored for periods of time. The only powders I use are specific medicinal herbs, but NOT as a food. Food should be right from nature to you ASAP. That's why in my
Free Food and Medicine DVD shows me going outside my front yard in my bathrobe, picking some wild weeds, putting them in my blender and drinking them within minutes. It's not a lot of work.

I hate preparing food. I have very little time myself. There is no excuse.

I love you guys and want to self-empower you to REAL HEALTH
