This is one of my many water tests. This particular one is simply an animated bump map on a flat plane- no actual 3D displacement or geometry. Remember to not use the transparency channel- just because it's water doesn't mean you need it. There is nothing to see in ocean water except highlights and color. The animated black and white texture map in this particular test was created with Psunami.
