the background big board is just a few flat polygons with animated texture maps. Imported poser people are walking around in the back and the light glows are Carrara lens flares. The General (Ron Schmitt) was an video clip with apha mapped onto a poly which was placed in the shot so I could do an interactive camera move that had him tied in with the surrounding perspective.
